The two wealthy families in Verona, the Capulet’s and the Montague’s. The families are bitter enemies, that can’t stand each other.
At a maskarade ball, the young Romeo Montague sees the only 14-year-old girl Juliet, and it is love at first sight. Romeo is delirious with joy, until he finds out that she carries the Capulet family name. Then the problems begins, but the two young lovers, breaks all the rules and marries in secret. None other than Juliet’s nurse knows what is going on.
While Romeo gets into trubble, when he kills one of the Capulets and has to leave Verona forever or he will also be killed, Juliet’s parents desides that she has to marry the young nobleman, Paris.
Julie desperately asks the friar, Friar Lawrence, for advice. She threatens to kill herself, so Friar Lawrence makes a drink for her, a drink that causes her to sleep, so hard in two days that you would believe she is dead.
Romeo does not get the note from Friar Lawrence, that explaines that Juliet is not really dead. So when he hears that Julie is dead, he rushes back to Verona. Here he sees the love of his life lie in the Capulet family chapel. He then drinks a bottle of poison, kisses her and lies himself down next to her.
