Every time I am in Copenhagen or Aarhus, I see tons of ads. I take a look around the buildings in my sightline, and what do I see? Ads, nearly every single house is over painted with the ads. I hate them, they all say the same: They are the best on the market, but many of them are miserable. They “force” you to buy their product instead of the competitions. Many of the big cities are ruined by ads, the old buildings are painted with ads, so you can’t see the old architecture, and you can only see advertisements. Paper-ads are lying all over the streets, but the companies don’t pay to get it cleaned up, it’s the government who has to pay for this.

It’s not only in Denmark you can spot these problems. I have been in Las Palmas, London, and some other big cities. They have the same problem, they are drowning in advertisements. I really don’t know how we can save the world from the advertisements, but we have to react.

Many of the ads are from big multinational companies, e.g. McDonalds, Coca Cola and Nike. Advertisements distort the truth about the product. McDonalds wants us to eat their food, so what do they do? They tells its healthy food, the new burger have “only” 30% fat. McDonalds is or will never be healthy food. There is made a movie about it. A man was only allowed to eat McDonald’s food in 2 months, but they had to stop after a month. Because the man’s body couldn’t manage the tons of fat, there were in the food. But still McDonalds tell us that their food is low-fat food.
