Marge Turners impression about the Danes does really not fit with my impression. Maybe we seems to be one of the worlds most technologically societies, but we aren’t! Try to think about it – some people from Jutland haven’t even been in the capital of Denmark. In Jutland many lives on a farm and I don’t even think they know how to send a text message. If that’s how one of the world’s most technologically advanced societies is behaving, I’ve really got a wrong impression about the world.

Marge says that bikes, umbrellas and babies in strollers can be left safely outside shops around town. But that’s a lie. Maybe babies can be left safely, but not bikes and other valuables. For instance has my mom, my dad, my friend’s big sister, one from my class and many others got their bike stolen. My friend has got her mobile stolen when she forgot in a sports centre, and my mom has a kind of a jumble sale, where things sometime got stolen. So a very good advice to Marge would be: take care of your things. We, the Danes, are not as you might think we’re.

Marge does also think that all the Danes seem to be smiling, but that’s not true. – In follow me. I think the Danes are one of the maddest societies in the world. For instance when I’m in the city and a random person walks into me, I’ve never tried that the person has stopped, and said sorry. And that’s only in Denmark we’re behaving like that. Because when I’m in Deutschland, and a random person walks into me there, they always stop, and say sorry. All in all, people in other countries are so much sweeter than us. For instance in Italy, they love children so much, and they give them candy. In China they want a picture with us, because they think we are so interesting and in Denmark we’re just like: ‘Oh no, look at that stupid Chinese. What a tourist’ and ‘Go away little child, you irritate me. Stop crying!’
