Obesity Obesity is serious issue in many parts of the world. To stop increasing obesity it is important to focus on preventing it from reaching the younger generations. The charity organisation Bernado’s launched a survey of pupils from nursery to secondary school, and it has found that schoolchildren are often bullied and are put under peer pressure because of their food choices and therefore they may tend to choose unhealthy snacks and fast food over healthier choices. Once, a boy who brought home cooked chicken with him in his lunch box was being named “Chicken Boy” by the other children.
