Engelsk sprogs betydning for mig

English is a very important language to me because it makes it possible for me to communicate with a large part of the world. I use English every day: When I am watching English television and when I am using the Internet. I also use English when I am travelling around the big beautiful world. I also use English words when I talk. Young people in Denmark use English words as slang. We use words as “nice” and “crazy”, but I use a lot more – I think it is funny to use a whole lot of English words but still in a Danish sentence.

I do also have a pen-friend from Singapore who I often write with. She is also sixteen years old and very good at English because she goes to an international school by the Singapore River. I met her on a website where you can find pen-friends, but I do not remember what it was called. I chose her as my pen-friend since we both love to play floorball. But that is not the only thing we have in common; we both love to dance, sing, write and then we love English and Mathematics. The funny thing is, that she knows my best friend who has lived in Singapore for a year.
