A survey tells that 12 million adults and at least one million children will be obese by 2010. Why do we have to be worried? People who are obese have a bigger risk to get a disease like diabetes 2, heart diseases and some kinds of cancer. The survey also tells that in four years the number of obese boys will be overtaken by the number of obese girls. One out of five girls in the age between two and ten years old will be classified obese. Since 2003 till 2010 there will be a prosper by 6 percent point of obese girls and a prosper by 2 percent point of obese men.
Our days understanding on children’s food, is that it have to be sweet, easy and with many calories. If Britain wants to increase the rising tendency of obese children and people who gets diabetes 2 and other diseases like heart diseases they have to change the understanding of what children and their parents should eat. It is bad for the country’s economy, if there are many children who gets a disease like diabetes or a heart disease, and the children concentration is getting lower, if they eat many calories en a short time, like the get in a hot dog or a burger.
