The newspaper article from 2005, “Dances with Robots”, says what the robots are able to do at the moment, and what the technicians are developing and working on. The article also tells the story about a girl who got jealous because a robot was talking to her mother instead of her.

In the past, machines were just ordinary machines like we know them from the industrial world. There were only one or some regular movements, and no language or feelings were involved. I want to claim that in the past, there were no relations to the machines because it was only machines doing some work for us, actually only a huge piece of ion with a computer that told it what to do, or maybe even just a human who served it.

According to the example, as mentioned at the top, we now relate to machines in another way. Humanoid robots can talk and move – and soon maybe more, and if we look at the development in the way robots has changed: they look and act more like us humans. I think that at some point in the future, you will not be able to tell the difference between a human and a humanoid robot, they will be able to do exactly the same things as we do. According to the text, is especially Japan working hard how to make robots more and more human.
