Jenny: Forrest and Jenny became friends from first sight and grew up together in Greenbow, Alabama. Forrest and Jenny were like ‘peas and carrots’ and it stayed that way all throughout school. They had a friendship full of love. When in collage, Forrest once waits for Jenny outside her dorm. She arrives in a car with a man, and they are about to ‘get it on’ she lies in a awkward position that is uncomfortable and informs the man that it hurts. All meanwhile Forrest is seeing this, and when he hears her saying that it hurts, he believes that the man is intentionally hurting her. So Forrest storms towards the car, brutally opens the door, punches the man, and takes Jenny to safety. While Forrest thinks he is rescuing her, all he is doing is causing a bad end for a lovely Saturday evening.
Their relationship stays full of love throughout the whole story.
Mama: Forrest’s Mama is one of the most important charters in the story. She is the one who helps Forrest through the fist part of his life, without her, he would never have accomplished much. But Forrest’s Mama has also been through much to give Forrest that chance in life.
