Book Review:
The book is about a boy who becomes a man by the years, and met the girl of his life, but it’s too complicated to explain why they aren’t together. He is an idiot but he’s not as stupid as people think. He’s hopeful and an easy learner, he’s been on allot of schools and then an idiot school, normal high school and than a university. He played football, but he was kicked out from his University because he wasn’t the best student in class, but one of the best on the football players. When he finally came home again he was sent to the military and than in the battlefield in Vietnam, when he went home to USA he got a medal because of he had been brave in the battle. He Thought it at one and the president’s men while he was protestant of the war, and got in to jail. When he got out again after a while he got in to N A S A and he was sent out in space for 4 years with an ape called Sue ,then he came back he tried to find jenny again he did and he lived with her but then he became a wrestler and lost jenny again. On the way home to his mother he met an old man playing chess alone and he sat down and played with him, the man told him that he was very good at chess so they took to Las Vegas for a big chess competition and he was playing with the big guy’s he played with the Russian world champion in the final, when the competition was over he went home to Bubba’s parents (university/military friend) to tell him about his death plus their dream about opening a shrimp fishing market. The old man (Mr. Tribble), Sue and Bubba’s farther started a business with Forrest, and there was allot of cash, but he wanted to get away from everything and find Jenny first, so he went to the train station and board a ticket to a random town. He sat down in a park on a Bench and began to play on his harmonica and Sue was beside him, and suddenly a woman and her child walked up beside him and spoke to him it was Jenny, and it was Forrest sun she was with, but jenny was married now so they couldn’t find together again but Forrest thought it was best that way and sends money to his son every month.
