Alex is a child. He goes to school, do his homework. So Alex is just a normal kid. His mom came to pick Alex up from school and while they are in the car Alex notices a bag in the car and his mom tells him that it is for the ‘’Vernissage to night’’.
Alex call the Vernissage for Vernie Sagde – It sounded like a person, that was how Alex like to think of it: A tall man, with a thick neck, big glasses, moustache and a nailbrush.
In the car Alex seems a bit worried for his mom, because he asks into who she is going to talk with at the evening because his father has to be there earlier and talk to the gallery owner.
I think that Alex is worried about if his parents are going to get divorced. When they came home Alex ate an banana sandwich and went to his room. His mom called his name from the stairway and he thought it was because she wanted him to do his homework. He hided under his parents bed and heard his mom came up the stairs, but she weren’t looking for Alex, she just came into her own room to change clothes – into that new dress she had bought for the evening.
