Alex rider is a fourteen years old boy. He lives with his uncle “Lan Rider” and their housekeeper “Jack Starbright”. Suddenly one day Alex is told that his uncle has been killed in a car crash. Alex discovers that his uncle was not a bank manager as he was told. He was infact a spy working for MI6, and was killed by a assassin. Alex is then recruited by the MI6, because they had knowledge about Ian, had been training Alex as a spy.
At first he refuses to co-operate.but he changes his mind when he is told, that they will deport Jack for being an illegal immigrant. After their agreement Alex is sent to a training camp for special agents. At first his fellow trainees doesn’t think much of Alex but after a short while he is fully accepted in the group of agents because of his talent and capabilities.
Alex is sent on his first mission as a agent. With the goal to find out the plan behind Mr. Sayle is giving away free computers to every school in Britain. He is sent to meet Mr. Sayle as a competition winner and is shown how “the Stormbreaker” computer program is working.
