We chose this topic because we will find out which battle it is to survive such a big wave. It is unbelievable that a wave could kill as many people and destroy as much.

This kind of natural disaster, triggered huge amounts of energy. It has a center where it starts and out from the center, it moves until it hits land.
Tsunamis can have an enormous speed and power. When the wave comes to the coast, the water levels low and that means the tsunami wave speed drops and the wave begin to grow.
How can you see when a tsunami is coming?
When a tsunami wave is underway, the water will at the coast being pulled back towards the sea before the tsunami frames coast.
