The Amish The Amish people are a society, that was established around the 16th century. They didn’t believe that the church was strict enough, so they started their own religion. The main part of it is that Christ wanted people to live a simple life not based on economical abundance. They isolated themselves in small societies around in Europe, but when the space for them got smaller, they got invited to the USA by President William Penn.
