My name is [NAVN A], I don’t know you yet, but from what I’ve heard, you seem very nice. I am going in a school called Nymarksskolen that is the school you are going to be in next year. We are very excited to meet you and I hope you are excited as well to meet us. Now, since I know nothing about you, I will just tell something about me. I am a boy living on a small island called Fyn in Danish although in English it is called Funen, which is also where the school is situated.
In our school we have a lot of subjects, although I think you have as well. I don’t know if you know Danish, but if not, you are going to next year. We also have biology, geography and community class, which I don’t know if you have. But again if not, you will next year.
On our school we don’t have a lot of traditions, although we do have some, for example when the 9th class leave the school, they throw caramels at the minor children, which they then eat. The ninth class also play football against the teachers, which all of the students watch. We are also allowed to bring candy the last day of school, which we eat whilst watching Donald Duck in the winter, and in the summer we just play games and have fun.
