A terrifying history about the bad thing, there happened 15 years ago…
A normal morning comes Stephanie Elizabeth Park, which is a 25-year old successful businesswoman, out of her apartment. She walks quickly down to the train station. She recognizes a man; he is familiar, very familiar. She doesn’t take care of it. Then she goes into the train. She reads the newspaper, and then she sees her worst nightmare. She’s looking at the page with marriages and she sees the envelope: FRANCIS GORDON LEECH and SYLVIA GRACE UNDERWOOD will marry at St Paul’s Church in London on Saturday, October 11.
She’s going at work anyway. She works for a publishing company in Bloomsbury. She meets one of the authors named John. She can’t focus on, what he says, so she takes home again. She is very afraid.
Suddenly the phone calls, she takes it, but no one answers. Then she gets a letter, it says: Meet me at 6 o’clock. At the coffee house in Longacre Street in Covent Garden.
She comes at the right time, but she knows, that Frankie is late. She waits for him. At 6.15 he arrives. Frankie can’t see Stephanie, so he walks away. Stephanie follows him. He walks into a hotel. Stephanie is straight at him. She finds out, that he is in room nr. 463. She lays down a newspaper clipping in the front of the door at room 463. The heading is: Child’s Play. The clipping is about a day 15 years ago, where Frankie’s little brother dies, because he drowns. Stephanie and Frankie were by the river, William drowns in. There stands, that Stephanie says: Leech watched his brother drown. Frankie had always been a bad boy, so the judge decided to send him to a school for bad children for six years. Stephanie writes on the clipping: My apartment. Tomorrow morning at 9 o’clock.
