The day started like any other day. I came in at eight o’ clock, and we started with math, I really like math but sometimes I get bored. But I liked it, our teacher was sick this day so we had a substitute teacher and we did not make math, we only talked and stuff.
The bell rang and we had recess. In the recess I walked outside like any other day. The weather was cold but it was also November.
In every recess I am out because I need some fresh air, it is a necessity when I need to learn.
The next lesson was English and we had to make a picture analyzes. I like English too, and I like individual work, because I am more concentrated when I work alone. My teacher had our respect, and we were very concentrated in his lessons. I thought our school was pretty boring, it was always the same lessons, the same recess and nothing new or exciting ever happened. But it was safe and nice. Until the 3rd lesson this day, we had Danish and we talked about a book.
Suddenly it knocked on our door. It was our head teacher. He took a gun out off his pocket, and our teacher yelled out: ‘’get on the floor’’ and the head teacher started shooting, it was horrible. I saw my best friend being shot in front of me, and his blood hit the blackboard. All the people in our class started screaming and crying. I did not know why, but I was calm. I think I was chocked and afraid at the same time, so I could not scream. Suddenly the police arrived in our classroom and arrested our Head teacher. All the people in our class were evacuated. Before the school shooting we were 21 pupils in our class, and now we are 16. It was awful. I was so sad and mad at the same time. I did not know what would happen in our future. Both with us, our school and the teachers. The teachers found it difficult to remain calm, but so did we. The pain inside our hearts was the worst pain I’ve ever felt.
