Jim was a regular guy who lived home with his parents Mary and Fred in Los Angeles and he was in the senior year in high school.
He had his best friend Mark and his girlfriend Jessica and they were always hanging out together.
The only problem was that his parents had not enough money to send Jim to college, so Jim was working really hard to get ekstra money, he had a job in a local restaurant and was the employee of the month, he was always waiting for a promotion but he never got it.
The last school day came and he didn't know what to do afterwards so he looked at his bankbook to see how much money he had and decide what he could do with the money.
He had the idea about moving away from his parents and get his own place, so he checked if anything could match the money he had.
Finally he found something, it was not an apartment or a house, but a house boat, Jim loved to sail so he thought it was a great idea and he went to the guy who was selling it and bought it right away.
