My task is about children’s diet. I have chosen this topic because I have an interest for diet, and I think it is very important to eat well and healthy. I will go through healthy food and unhealthy food, the 8 Danish dietary guidelines and motion.
The 8 Danish dietary guidelines
Eat fruit and vegetables 6 times a day
Eat fish several times a day
Eat potatoes, rice, pasta and fiber-rich l bread every day
Save on sugar, especially from soda, candy and cakes
Save on the fat, especially from milk products and meat
Eat varied and preserve your weight
If you are thirsty, drink water
Be physically active at least 60 minutes a day
Recommendations for children’s daily intake of food
Milk and milk products: It is recommended that the daily for everyone over 1 year includes approx. ½ of milk and/or dairy chosen preferably from the part of the range
Bread and grain products: It is recommended that bread and grain along with rice, pasta and potatoes are an essential part of the daily diet. For older children suggested guideline total of approx. 500 g divided evenly on the bread, grains and potatoes, rice, pasta.
Vegetables, vegetable products, fruit and fruit products: Children age 4-10 are recommended 300-500 g. All Danes over 10 years is recommended to eat 600 grams of fruit and vegetables, preferably more.
