Vi skulle skrive om "The Amish culture".

I chose the Amish culture because I think it's a particularly interesting topic to discuss. I wanna start off by addressing the Amish dress code. Amish women do wear any sort of jewelry. The men and the boys wear dark colored suits, straight-cut coats, solid colored shirts, black socks, and shoes, and broad-brimmed hats of black felt. Patterned clothing is something that is also banned. The Amish people have a very simple dress code and lifestyle that is governed by the Ordnung of their community. The Amish live rather traditionally. Generally, they avoid modern technology. They see it as a threat to the community and a distraction from spending time with family. For transportation they use buggies, and many Amish people live completely without electricity. They believe that spending time with family, and god is some of the most important values in life. In my opinion, you can easily spend time with family while still using modern technology and electricity. I Can reflect on that with my own life, I spend a lot of time with family while still using modern technology a lot. And I even think that you can incorporate modern technology with family. Up till the age of 16, they live the Amish way, but when they turn 16 they get rumspringa, which basically means “running they have to choose whether they want to return and be baptized and join the Amish community or leave it for good. Most youths choose to stay Amish, but not all of them. I think its a little unfair. Because all of their life they have, only been together with other Amish people. They know no one outside of the Amish culture. So they are forced to pick being Amish. They would get shunned if they chose not being Amish. So they would be completely lost if they picked the Amish way. If they violate any of the Amish rules they can get shunned. That means the person is not allowed to eat with or talk to anyone in the community. around”. The teenagers are allowed to rebel against their community, but in the end, ?
