Starbucks has over ten thousand stores around the world and their management is about to incorporate China into their already big list of countries to service. Howard Schultz, the CEO of Starbucks, said to a Business Week journalist that they are humble because of the potential on the market. Therefore, Starbucks and its’ management are trying to enhance the Starbucks experience. They keep on developing more unique products such as cakes, coffee beans, and most importantly; new types of coffee. Renewal is one of the biggest key factors if a company like Starbucks intends to stay in the game. The experience is also important for the customers; with ten thousand stores all over the world, it’s easy for Starbucks to fit in with the crowd, and become an ordinary coffee shop like the numerous other ones. That’s why Mr. Schultz and his board of management are thriving to develop the experience one gets from them.

Fact

Starbucks being the number one distributor of coffee is completely undeniable, and with their aggressive style of marketing in China, the level of threat they impose to us now, and in the future will with good reason be massive.

Renewal, renewal, renewal

If you want to achieve success in this kind of business, one needs to stand out from the crow to gain attention from the consumers. But in the long run, while standing out from the crowd will get you on the map; it just will not be enough to achieve success. Success is achieved by continuous renewal of strategies and products.
