Fast food is considered to be unhealthy, but the quick meal is popular for both young and the elderly people. The fast-food restaurants are some of the most normal in the weekday for many people. The food at McDonald’s, for example the Big Mac menu and the Whopper menu, are high-calorie and unhealthy dishes with high portions of fat, protein and salt. But even if the fast-food is unhealthy, it is a very big success, but there are of course some negative side-effects. In a lot of countries weight issues is a growing problem and also a more debated subject.

But in spite of a lot of attacks from different parts, the success of Burgers, French fries and the like for the fast-food continues. McDonalds is much more than a fast-food chain. It is a world-wide trend. The changes at McDonald reflect the American eating habits. Traditional meals are not the most popular more. People rather go to McDonald’s both in the morning, noon, afternoon, at dinner time and even at night. McDonald has been an enormous success, but it isn’t McDonald’s there are responsible for the way the Americans eat. McDonald’s serves for an enormous number of them, they have a record for it. The company now feeds around 27 million people every day, 1 million more every year since 2003.
