I think that many people see talent shows as an opportunity to be famous and earn a fortune even though many of them already know that they don’t have any talent at all. Many of them are willing to take the risk of being criticized by the judges. Sometimes when they end up making a big fool out of themselves in front of millions of viewers, it happens that they realize that it was not worth it. There are also very some quite good singers and artists, but I wonder if they are true artists for as far as I can see they are only tempted by the money. I think that a true artist should be concentrated on his art, and for most of the people in the talent shows the money and the fame is the main reason for participating. But an interesting thing about these shows is that the winner’s fame doesn’t last very long time. A lot of winners in the Danish talent show ‘’x-factor’’ have lost their fame in about half a year. I clearly remember the first ‘’x factor’’ winner ‘’Martin’’. I remember that right after he won ‘’x factor’’ he was very famous but now a days almost no one listens to his music.
