The movie is about four important animals. A zebra named Marty, a lion named Alex, a giraffe named Melman and a hippo named Gloria. They are living in New York City zoo, and they have everything they need. The movie starts and we Marty running on his running board. Frond of him theirs a wall and there is paint the wall. The painting is a place from Madagascar, it’s called The Wild in the movie, and Marty really want to go there. But Alex, Melman and Gloria don’t want to leave the zoo, so they don’t know anything about Marty’s dream.
Its Marty’s birthday and Gloria, Melman and Alex I celebrate it with him. They sing a song; eat a cake, and just having fun. And then they see a shooting star and Marty is wishing. Gloria, Alex and Melman want know what he wishes, and he tells them about the dream about The Wild. They just think it’s a joke, and that makes Marty sad. So they go to bed, but Marty can’t sleep. Suddenly Marty hear something and look around, and he sees four penguins. They want to escape from the zoo and come home to where they from. And gives Marty a idea. So wen Melman wake up at the night, and see that Marty is gone, he wake Gloria and Alex and they are going after Marty. They all, Marty, Gloria, Alex, Melman and the penguins, ends at New Yorks City’s station, end the human is sending them with a ship. At the ship the penguins is breaking out of the box, and taking over the ship. They turn the ship around, and because of that, a lot of box is falling in the water. And that is Melman, Gloria, Alex and Marty’s box. So they come to Madagascar, but thinks it’s a zoo in California.
