What love precisely is, is a highly discussed topic. Every day philosophers around the world are attempting to define what love is. Love is a strong feeling of attachment to someone or something. Love is a very natural thing since the day you’re born. It starts with what we call mother love which is the kind of love a mother shows her child. This later on changes to family love (not to be confused with incest) which is about loving each other in the family. Family/mother love is a very important thing for the child as they later on may get psychological disorders if they don’t get their love. Actually it’s said that many criminals became criminals because of the lack of love from their families when they were kids. Later on (mostly in the teenage years) family love won’t be able to “satisfy” the need for love and romantic love (romance) will dominate the scene. Romantic love is the kind of love we have read about, and is also the kind of love I will be referring to, when I use the word “love.” Romantic love is when a person in love has selected it by him/herself. This is why arranged marriages have no part in love, but may later create love. Love is also described as something uncontrollable, which can explain why some people do everything to get the one they love.
