Drømmen om en fodboldkarriere

What it takesAlmost every day I think of how it would be a famous footballer, and just earn money by training and playing matches, what can give many millions a month. In a age of seven I started playing football I wasn't so interested in it, I just played for fun, I never played for the best team, when I reached the age 10, I started watching football, I loved to watch Manchester United play, how Cristiano Ronaldo dribbled past on and two it was just amazing, well, then he was my favorite football player of them all, and I started watching Manchester United games, just to see how Ronaldo moved on the pitch and how he was running with the ball, then I was playing in his position myself and sure enough I got on the best team, since then my will for playing football just have grown stronger year by year.I would say that every teenager in the world must have think about how it would be to earn millions on being famous, but you can't just say that you want to be famous, you have to do something about it yourself, I train football myself and use six to eight hours a week on it, it isn't as much as the professionals, but it's sure enough for me when I'm going in school and have a job to take care of. Here in the Faroe Island there's plenty of talents in my age, but they never reach the place they want so badly, it's unbelievable how they here in the country just stop playing football in a age of sixteen to twenty years old, just because they have gotten a job where they use all their time, that isn't the way you have to think about it, if you want it so badly you have to say to yourself that you want to be famous, then just keep on going for it, and don't stop. Of course it takes alot of your time to reach it, and it takes alot hard work, training and confidence. But if you reach it you will never regret what you have done, to earn money with sport or singing, and earn money while having fun, is a dream for everyone. But there sure is some negative sides in being famous, you can't have much time with your family, hang out with friends and if you have a girlfriend she won't have much of your time neither, you just have to stay in focus all the time, what you just can't, no footballer in the world can play fifty games and play them all good, that's just impossible, another thing about being famous is the people around you, who will almost attack you if they see you walking on the street to get you to sign a autograph, that's just things you don't think about when you're a little boy. Some positive sides is all the money, the fun you get out of it, meeting other famous persons, and all the respect you will get from some of the people it's just unbelievable to think about. If you just think about standing in one of the worlds biggest stadiums and have the first lift on a trophy like the Champions League trophy, and when you have lift it so high as you can, it's like a big party for the spectators, I would say that it's surely a dream I could wish came true for me.
