Boganmeldelse af 'Inspector Holt gets his man'

The story starts at a building site, where one of the workers gets called up to Mr. Rogers office. Mr. Rogers is the boss of the building site, and the workers name is Peter. When Peter comes up to Mr. Rogers, Rogers says ”peter we are missing a lot of wood and we are suspecting that you stole it”. Peter insures Mr. Rogers that it wasn’t him; Mr. Rogers told Peter that if he finds more materials have disappeared, he would contact the police and Peter would get fired.

The next morning when Mr. Rogers came to work he saw that the draw in his office table was open, and that the box with money that he had placed there was gone. Mr. Rogers went down to the workers and shouted, ”where is Peter!” the workers told that Peter didn’t come to work this morning …..

I think that the story is a bit boring; the thing that makes it boring is that it hasn’t got that much depth and content, and that you don’t get to know the characters very well.
