Good afternoon everybody, I am very pleased to be here today. My name is [NAVN A] and I am also a student here at the Johns Hopkins University.
I am here today to give a speech about how the American Dream has changed over time and what it looks like today.
I have divided my talk into two parts. Firstly, I will tell you about the American Dream and the different perceptions of the American Dream, and secondly, I will discuss what it takes to achieve the American dream. I plan to speak for about ten minutes and after my speech I would welcome any comments on my presentation.
So right now, you are thinking of a life in luxury, maybe you are thinking about what would make you happy, but where did the American Dream start? The American Dream is a symbol for the endless possibilities offered to those who have the conviction to work hard, those who have the power when beaten down but still rise up again and again and again.
The American Dream started as a dream for the hard-struggling workers in America, who wanted their lives to be better and full of happiness. Therefore, they came to the promised land; America.
