Talent Shows: Dream or Nightmare

My opinion about talent shows is very difficult, for what talent show it is. Some talent shows are bigger than the others. In Denmark we have ‘’Talent’’ and ‘’X-factor’’. In USA they have ‘’American Idol’’ and in United Kingdom they have ‘’Britain’s Got Talent’’ and X-factor’’. Other countries also have these talent shows, but I think these are the most popular. Most talent shows have another name, but in the end they are all about the same like ‘’Talent’’ (The Danish show) and Britain’s got talent’’ (The English show). Both shows are about the same, but they just have other names. For some people it’s a big dream to become a star and other people it’s a nightmare. What I think? It’s not important; I just want to be happy.I only know three talent shows: Talent, X-factor and American Idol. All three shows is about to find the best performer, entertainer and make most fun of those people who can’t sing. My favorite is American Idol, because they pick persons, who really can sing and they seems to know, what they looking for, but they also know what sing really is. I most listen to the text and the voice when I listen to music, so that’s why I like it. The English/American talent show and the Danish talent show are very different. Also because in Denmark it’s only few people who make success and in England, or USA they all almost get success. I remember one person, who still makes music in Denmark and it’s Basim, but he isn’t known all over the world. In USA is there Kelly Clarkson and Jordin Sparks which is known all over the world and they still have success, even though it’s long time ago they won the contest. Kelly Clarkson was the first person who won American Idol. She did it in 2002 and Jordin Sparks won few years after in 2007 but also other stars like Carrie Underwood and David Cook. Americans is more professional then the Danish, I think. I don’t know if it’s right, it’s just my opinion. Sometimes the judges have to be tuff to those who goes to the talent show, because some of them don’t even know, they not have a talent. Maybe it’s hard, but it’s the only way to get it in their head. The Danish show ‘’Talent’’ is not one of my favorite. I think it’s boring and not getting my attention. I used to watch X-factor with my dad and his girlfriend. I’m not voting on any of the participants. I have other things to spend my money on, but even though it’s still nice and then I can sit and hope that the singer I like move on to the next show. Talent shows are something you can’t ignore. It’s everywhere; in the papers, radio and the magazines. There will always be haters or lovers. I know how it’s like to know there is running bad rumors about you in the town and it’s annoying. So if you are a celebrity it must be so much more annoying, because people all over the world know about it.
