There have been a lot of discussions, about whether the UK is becoming disunited or not. The UK is the big society, with many different inhabitants and countries, many people don’t know that. Many of the inhabitants are trying to get a bit out of the UK because they would like it to be their own country. They have different cultures, different values, and different living standards. There are a lot of the inhabitants that are tired of being seen as Great Britain, though they are living in Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland. There has also been quite a lot of confusion about the Olympics.
First of all the Olympics is a confusing problem. All the countries are trying to get their own “thing”, they don’t want to be like the other countries in the UK. But in the Olympics the Great Britain soccer team, is representing the whole UK in one team. That means that players from every country in the UK are allowed to play for the national team “Great Britain”. It makes a lot of confusion for the people. However it is only in the Olympics they play as UK, when they are having the World Championship or European Championship and such like, the teams are playing as their own country. There is a lot of competition when the UK nation meets each other in an international match. They are each other’s biggest rivals. This makes them more disunited, and the people like that.
