Stephanie was an ordinary girl aged 16, who had an ordinary family. She lived in Scotland with her parents in a little house with their dog, Laika. She had no siblings and had just finished her first year of high school. It was summer vacation and Stephanie wanted to enjoy her time off by relaxing the whole summer. It was Friday evening and Stephanie decided to take a walk with her dog. It was still warm and bright outside, although the clock neared 10pm.She told her parents that she was taking walk with Laika, so it may be late before she returned. Laika was the sweetest dog in the whole world. Laika was a German shepherd and she was so obedient and would never hurt a fly. Laika was very well trained by Stephanie’s father. He was a police man and he used Laika sometimes for his job.
Stephanie decided to go on an adventure with Laika, so she walked across the fields and into the beautiful wood. The forest was filled with the most colorful flowers and the trees were the most beautiful Stephanie had ever seen. The birds were flying around them and they were singing the finest tunes. It was all so magical. When they came out of the woods on the other side, they stood in front of a huge castle surrounded by many large fields. Laika and Stephanie were both surprised. They had never walked this far before. The castle was very beautiful, but it seemed deserted. Stephanie bent over Laika removed her leash. Laika ran around freely, but always stayed within a few meters of Stephanie.
