I think that the reasons the Danes are the world's happiest people are because we have a welfare state to ensure everyone has it well. In Denmark the social authority helps everyone who need it and they make sure that we are happy and satisfied no matter whether they are black, yellow or white. If you don't have any job or get fired they will give cash benefit until you get a job again. Also the homeless people have a pretty good life compared to other countries. In Denmark there is a lot of organizations like Salvation Army that help them. For example they have a small house in Copenhagen called Hørhuset where you can come and get a good night's sleep and support to cope with the day to come.
Denmark is one of the richest countries. In Denmark the Taxes are high which made everybody has free access to hospitals, schools, kindergartens, old people's home. The Danes probably spend their money differently than the other countries. They don’t buy big houses or big cars of course somebody do but not like the USA. The Danes spend most of their money on travels to warm countries where you don’t have to worry about do the shopping, cooking or cleaning. They can just enjoy each other's society or just lie by the pool or beach and relax.
