USA's præsidentvalg 2012: Republikanernes comeback

Barack Obama won big in 2008, while there will be great excitements about the results in 47 days.

The American presidential elections decision will primary be decided in the 9 key states on the 6th of November.

The desert-and mountain state Nevada in the western USA is one of the key states, and in a new opinion poll, which was published at 10 pm in Danish time, is apparently impossible to anticipate the results.

Obama won big in 2008

According to the opinion poll from CNN/ORC 49 percent of the state’s voter prefer, who are planning to vote, the current president Barack Obama.

But if you take account for the statistical uncertainty, then there is nothing worth mentioning, that the democrats will take the lead. The Republicans rival Mitt Romney is preferred by 46 percent of the electors.

At the presidential election in 2008 there were no doubts about the results.

Millions of expenses on tv-advertising

Barack Obama won back then 55 percent of the votes against only 43 percent to the Republican John McCain, who was behind from the start.

The Republicans starting point is therefor much better this time than four years ago, and the Mitt Romney camp are apparently betting fiercely on winning the desert state. On Wednesday the challenger arrives exactly to Nevada, where the next part of the campaign tour takes place.
