Security check has existed for a long time. But lately they seem to have entered another dimension. Shashi Tharoors friend refuses to fly anymore, because he can’t stand the routine check, he must take his shoes off and must put them through the screening device. He mentions why not wear slip – on loafers, that would be much easier. He feel they are so embarrassing, and once upon a time he checked all his luggage and only stroll aboard in the fly with a newspaper and a paperback. His suitcase was secured, so he was sure that he has all his luggage when he arrived the destination he went to. He was so irritated over that they must check his most intimating items, so every one could see it and hear what he has in his suitcase. And he felt that they are checking the wrong people. Once a upon a time they ask a mother with a little baby, to drink the milk to the child, from the bottle. Because they would be sure that the bottle didn’t contains lethal toxin. And another episode takes place in the airport, where the personal check the oxygen tank from a boy who the oxygen tank, for deadly poison gas. Every time he went on flying he feels that he has been violated, while they is checking through. Shashi Tharoor has much experience off flying and he knows that all that extra check in has a reason and that is the terror, which is the reason for that. The terror has become a more visible problem and the passenger in the United States must accept that. Because it’s has become more difficult to be a terrorist in the United States. The Government and the police have chosen to have an extra attention on the fly security, because World Trade Centre has been bombed in the year off 2001
