Once upon a time there was a little girl who lived deep in the woods. She was home alone every night, and had to get used to the darkness, the storm and the branches that poked at the window. Every night she would hide under the covers and hope to fall asleep right away. But then one evening when she stood and listened to all the scary noises outside, a pretty little elf came in. She was startled when the door opened, but suddenly she could see only green powder on the door, and hear some magic words. She almost fell into a deep sleep because the words were so calming but woke up when she suddenly could see a lot of beautiful colors in the sky. The sun shone, the sea sparkled and there were a lot of beautiful rainbows in the sky. There was a lot of elves and fairies, they had all different colors and danced because they were so happy and filled with love. It made the little girl so happy to look at the cute creatures that she wanted to dance with them, but just as she was starting to, a beautiful butterfly floated past her. She had never ever seen such a butterfly before. Its wings had all kind of colors and patterns and the butterfly also had a quite specific characteristic, it had a heart on one of its wings. A large and clear red heart, it was so beautiful and sweet. The little girl could not resist the butterfly, she followed it and came to a giant bouncy castle, the bouncy castle was the size of a football field, but there were no children, elves or fairies that jumped on it. It was difficult for her to understand why no one where jumping and having fun on the castle. But the butterfly flew away, and jumped up into the castle. The little girl followed, and suddenly she turned into a beautiful butterfly. All the little elves came running and all the little fairies came flying, they were all breathless, and looked uneasily at the little beautiful butterfly who had been a little girl seconds before. The tiny butterfly floated lovely around and tried to get used to its wings. Elves and fairies, and told the girl that she had jumped into a curse that could not disappear. The only way the curse would disappear was to find a prince before midnight. The little girl who now had wings, had to get used to them first and by midnight find a prince who would marry her. The little butterfly was frightened, and at first she didn’t believe them, but since they all were so serious, she hastened to fly back to the human world to find a real prince. She was afraid of the idea to get married in such a young age, but she had to if she wanted her life and herself back, as a little innocent girl. The little butterfly found a prince and he agreed to marry, but on one condition. The little butterfly had to prove that she was a real person and that she just was caught in the butterfly body. She wanted to use the elves and fairies as evidence, but they weren’t allowed to show them self for a grown human, only to children who had problems and needed help. So she had to take the prince with her through the forest, and home in her little house, and find all the pictures of herself as human. The prince went with her, and the girl had shown all the pictures and told her life story. The prince was surprised at the things that had happened to her, but the little butterfly had persuaded him. So after a few seconds the time was late and the prince and the little butterfly had to hurry, they didn’t have much time left. Church bells rang, the prince sat on the butterfly's back, and when they arrived to the church, there were guests, church choir and a priest. It could not be better for the small sweet happy friends. The priest had spoken, the prince and the little girl had said: “I do”, the prince had become a masculine young prince and the butterfly was a beautiful young lady. The prince and the young lady was both surprised, but threw themselves into each other's arms with joy, and they lived happily to the day they died.
