Thyra Frank was born on the 10th of May 1952 in Gammel Skørping.
She graduated from Aalborg Katedralskole and was an educated nurse in 1982.
She has been working with eldercare since 1975 and has since 1988 manager for the elder home “Lotte” on Frederiksberg. As a manager of “Lotte” she has been working with the believes of: care, wellbeing and respect, for Lottes 22 residents.
She has a philosophy of “The rights to a respectful senior life” and the believe “a life before death”
She is also known for serving, redwine to the food and port wine for the evening coffee. She also takes all the residents to an annual charter holliday.
That has given her a big reputation, also as a lecturer, and she takes part of the public debat. In the summer of 2008 she was given the title “Kniight of Dannebrog”
Thyra was appointed as leading candidate of Liberal Alliance in north jutland, and was elected as a member of the Danish parlament in 2011
