Anne frank was a half Jewish, half German young girl who suffered under Hitler`s Nazi regime and at last died in an German concentration camp.
She was born in 1929, the 12th of June, in the city Frankfurt am Main. Her family was liberal Jewish, which means that they didn’t follow all the rules and traditions within Judaism. The first three years of Anne frank’s childhood was quiet and calm. Her mother was gentle and mild. Her father was a bit stricter. One of his biggest wishes was that his children would grow up with scientific achievements and goal in their thoughts. He had a big library and requested often Anne frank and her big sister to study and experience the world of books. As she grew older her interest for books increased and she started to enjoy the world of knowledge. It was her passion. In 1933, more specific the 13th marts were the frank family forced to move out of Germany. It was namely the year of 1933 where Adolf Hitler’s Nazi-party came to power. Anti-jewish demonstrations started to pop-up all over the country and the frank-family had to move away for their own sake. Anne frank’s grandmother lived in Aachen which is a little town on the outskirts of Germany and It became the two daughters and their mother Edith`s home for some time, probably a year. Otto Frank the father of the family decided to stay in Frankfurt.
