People in Denmark have become more and more open when it comes to getting money in a sexual way, as well as prostitutes as strippers. I remember a pedagogue at my youth club. She was a stripper. Some of the young people who spend their time in the club thought that she was a bad pedagogue and would have a bad influence on the kids, just because she got money for stripping. Opposite many other I always saw her as a good person. She was a good role model. Not because she was a stripper, but in the way she treated people and believed in them, she was an example on that you should not judge people on the basis of their job. Some people think it is a problem that people cash in on degrading jobs like stripping. People know strippers do not have the greatest and most successful life. Perhaps that is why women like strippers never have been the kind of people you should be around, especially not when you are young and trying to find your identity, like the girl, in this story, is. This short story is written by a woman who is interested in women’s history, her name is Jill Norris. As we can see in the text Jill is a Briton. One thing is that she writes “realise” which is the British version of the word. But she writes: “airplane”, which is the American version of the word?
