Summary: The narrator starts a business with her brother’s best friend named Eugene. All three of them are in high school. The narrator feels a special bond with Eugene since they share the same opinions about Franconia. Her brother is aware of their business but is caught up in his science project, where he is studying mice’s behaviour. One-time Eugene forgets he has to write a paper, so the narrator ends up writing it all in one night. The next morning, they end up fighting about the paper in school in front of the vice-principal. They both get a suspension.
