Food and eating are important and powerful expressions of cultural and social identity.
Eating well is an important part of maintaining good health, and can help to feel best. So I usually eat three healthy meals per day, sometimes I wish to eat fast food. Every morning I start with cereals and milk. I take brown bread with cold cuts, sometimes with cheese. Normally I eat most of the Tamil foods for dinner. For examples rice with different dishes and kinds of pancakes, we call it " Doosai " and many variety of food items. During the day time, I eat snacks and fruits, I drink tea, coffee and plenty of water. In between I like to drink fruit juice and soda so that, I maintain my balanced diet daily.
I maintain my healthy food habits daily, but for a change I eat fast food e.g. pizza, burger and French fries.
Most of the young people like to eat fast food or junk food. Among them pizza, burgers, potato chips, fried foods, sodas and shakes are very popular fast foods. They like to eat fast food everyday, but they don't care about their health.
Comparing with normal food and fast food, fast food is very expensive. But young people earn little and spend more for fast food. They get diseases frequently. If the diseases continue through their lives, it will be very dangerous to all generations. And these affect the whole society. Eating a lot of fast food or other unhealthy foods is often connected with lot of lifestyle problems like lack of physical and mental activities. e.g. TV and internet addiction, depression and stress. And also over weight, blood pressure, diabetes and heart disease.
