Analyse af 'My mother and her sister'

The story is about a person whose mom just died, the person whom I think is a girl, but we are not told in the story. She has just been to the funeral and she has said yes to take care of her aunt Lucy for a couple days, and then drive her home. In the start Lucy was very quiet and she hardly eat, Our main character was afraid she might be sick. But one evening where they are eating they start talking and it quickly get more serious, they start talking about what happiness is and that her mother always pursuit happiness but never got it.

Setting

The setting is home at our main character, she lives alone in a big house, or it is big enough for the aunt to have her own bedroom, it is not really described the house, but I imagine that it is pretty modern. It rains constantly until the last day it is almost like you can feel in the air that something is different that day when it stops raining, because the main character who has done very much to make her aunt happy suddenly stops and do as she is used to.
