Write a brief summary of ”Blink and you miss it”200-400 words

In the beginning of ”Blink and you will miss it” the narrator is thinking about a boy called Sammy. Sammy is the narrators five years old son, who the narrator haven’t seen the last three years, since Sammy was two. Instead he has been serving his punishment in jail, due to a mistake he made on a holiday in Thailand. The narrator begins his explanation about how he ended up in jail by saying: “This is what happened”. He was on a holiday in Thailand by a beach where there soon were to be held a full moon party, involving drugs. He and a group of people, with the beach guru as their leader, were organizing the beach party, but they had one big problem. Owing to a police raid the week before, they had a shortage of substances. They had been forced to either destroy or hide their drugs, to prevent the police arresting them. They therefore needed new substances fast, to have enough for the full moon beach party, and the beach guru knew how to purchase it. He had a special contact that he would only use in important situations as this, but he wanted someone to go with him – he chose the narrator. That night the beach guru and the narrator went to the waterfront, and the narrator was by the guru asked to walk up to a man waiting and said, “I want some drugs”. The narrator should though have looked around, before doing it, cause if he had he would have spotted the many green uniformed policemen hiding in the surroundings. Few seconds after asking the man for drugs, he was laying face down on the ground. In the meantime the policemen where arresting him, the chief of police was slipping banknotes down in his pocket, and he then knew that he had been cheated on and that everybody was happy except himself.
