I have read the following texts and based on them I will answer the the three questions:

Peter Sunde, ”The Pirate Bay’s Peter Sunde: it’s Evolution, Stupid”, an article from WIRED website, 2012

“Four Comments on ’The Pirate Bay’s Peter Sunde: it’s Evolution, Stupid’”, from WIRED website, 2012

Wendy Cope, “You like my poems? So pay for them”, an article from the Guardian website, 2007

1. Give an outline of the attitudes to copyright violation and illegal downloading as presented in text 1 and 3.

Text 1 is an article written by Peter Sunde, who is a co-founder and ex-spokesperson of The Pirate Bay, which is a site that allows people to share and download music and movies illegally. He has a very strong opinion of the copyright system and it is clearly negative. He claims that the entertainment industry in Hollywood is trying to dictate the whole world by not letting people choose where to buy or get access to the movies and music they want to watch or hear. Peter thinks that people should be allowed to share files with each other online for free. He thinks that it is a part of evolution and that evolution happens anywhere but the entertainment industry. He is afraid the entertainment industry has so much influence that they can dictate people by threatening that the U.S. will boycott all trade with your land if you don’t follow their rules.
