How was it to me black in the south in 50’esIn South states they are very racist, they treat blacks and whites on 2 different ways. Black people have not allowed the same as the white. But it has Rose Parks and Martin Luther King helped to change.Black people couldn't go to the same restaurant, go to the same toilet or drink from the same water fountain as white people. There was even special parking for colored people, and a lot more they not was allow to do.

Rosa Parks in the busRosa Louise Parks was born on 4 February 1913, and died again on 24 October 2005. Rosa was a black woman, and she became the model for the civil rights movement in the United States. She was arrested on 1 December 1955 in Montgomery, Alabama, because she refused to give up her seat on a bus to a white man. Rosas punishment to refuse to move her in the bus was, that she was arresteret, and she get a fine in 14 $. On a Monday the black people meet to a meeting , a minister named Dr. Martin Luther King says the “we are going to keep walking until the bus company gives us fair treatment. Then started all blacks to boycott the buses and walk instead. This meant that bus companies were about to go bankrupt, since it was mostly blacks who took the bus. The bus boycott lasted for 381 days, before the bus company stopped having segregated buses. The law was changed and blacks should no longer sit at the back of the bus and give their seats to whites. Rosa parks have been called the mother of that movement.
