Crimes and guns, those two seem to go hand in hand with one another. And people love to connect them with each other. But are those two things really associated? Is the American weapon law rigid enough? Or are people just abusing their rights? Why are the American murder numbers that high, when Canada has the same rights, but they don’t kill as much? These questions are people around the world asking themselves, including myself. I think the American culture is very odd to the rest of the world. The US and Canada are the only countries in the world, who is having that kind of a weapon law. Weapons are legal in those countries. I think it´s very weird that America, “the land of freedom and opportunity”, is the country who is having the highest kill ratio in the world. Canada, who also is having this kind of law about weapons, doesn’t kill nearly as much as the Americans are.
Is America one big bomb of fear? What is wrong with the society? Why is the American government pumping fear into the population? Does this fear have any good influence on the people? Or is the fear just there to.. To what? Which good sides does this fear have? I don´t know, and I don’t think I’m the only one with these thoughts.
