Resumé af 'Robinson Crusoe'

The book starts with Robinson Crusoe told his parents that he wished to go to sea his father prayed him not to do it so Robinson Crusoe decided not to think of it any more.

But one day in the city of Hull he met a friend who was going to sea on his fathers ship and he asked Robinson Crusoe to go with him. Without asking his father he went on board the ship. On the same day they went on board the ship and the trip starts.

After a few days there came a fearful storm and ship was ruined.All the men were thrown into the water a grave wave took Robinson Crusoe and carried him into the shore.He woke and discovered he was alone on the island. He started to build a house so he had something to live in. After he had lived on the island in some time he started to build a boat but when it was finish he could not get it into the water. A day Crusoe found a mark of a mans foot in the sand he thought that the mark was a mark of his own foot but he found his foot to small so that could not be his own footmark. Crusoe went to his house and build the walls around it stronger.After some days he saw a board. He saw that it was some cannibals so he went back to his house a took a gun he had from the ship.He shoot two cannibals and saved the man they wanted to eat Crusoe called him Friday because it was Friday he saved him. He learned Friday to speak English so they could talk together.Long time after came there an English ship.Crusoe was very happy but then he saw that they had prisoners. When it was dark Crusoe went dawn to the prisoners one of them woke and Crusoe talked with him.The prisoner said that he was the captain if the ship but then my men rose up against me he also told Crusoe that the two other men was his officer and traveller.Crusoe, Friday, the captain and his men took the little ship from the sleeping men and sailed out to the big ship.They take over the big ship and then they sailed home to England.
