-------------------------------------------------------

The worst thing about obesity is that you people don’t know how hazardous it actually is. I think we need to take it far more serious, than we already do. The obesity epidemic is growing, and what does that exactly mean? It means that the amount of fat people is growing. As Morgan Spurlock mentions in the text, 127 million Americans are overweight, 60 million Americans are obese and 9 million are severely obese. These may just sound as numbers to you, but these numbers mean a lot more than that. This is becoming a huge problem in the US. People doesn’t care about their health anymore, they don’t care about what the junk they put in their stomachs does to them. Among African American and Hispanic kids, it’s almost one out of two kids who develop diabetes 2. As Morgan says diabetes can lead to heart attacks, strokes, blindness, kidney failure and nerve damage. Basically, it means that all the junk food people eat, makes them a lot closer to the death. The junk food may seem harmless when you look at it, but when you know what the ingredients are, you can compare it to poison. People really need to cut the junk, initiate the fitness training and lose some weight if they want to live. Instead of teaching your kids not to exercise, and make them addicted to junk food, maybe you should teach them about how chuffed we should be for life, and think more about what we eat, and what it does to us before obesity completely takes over the world. We need to start taking care of each other instead of being so self-seeking. Actually this is not just the obesity, we need to value the life that we have been giving and don’t just throw it away with diseases.
