There is a big different about heroes now and then.cPreviously in the former Denmark the heroes could be: Real men who fought for god, king and the mother country! It could also be a sailor or a head of state. But it’s not the same heroes now a day. But what are heroes today? Of course our soldiers in Denmark are heroes, but there different ways to be a hero. You can have an idol you looking up to and think that’s your hero. Or maybe your mom, dad, sister or someone else who is a hero for you, like a role model/ a good example for you.
A sailor is not really a hero today but it could be a football player from the Danish national team. For example it could be our tennis player Caroline Wozniacki. She is often in the social media! Many people mean she’s such a great fighter and present Denmark in a good way. Then we have the queen of Denmark. She is often in others countries and gives a good vibe to other people. She could also be a “hero” fro Denmark. The band “Aqua” from Denmark was also popular these days, for many years ago. They have made the song “Barbie girl” who was especially popular in the whole world. Then they present Denmark all over the world because they are from Denmark. Someone mean a band can be heroes and Aqua was such a big success.
