The Fox Cub Written by Jackie Brewster ?Summary:?Marie is a new member of the city, who has nobody to talk to. She is very mature and usually sits by her selves and waiting for someone to come over and talk. She meets Rachel who is the story teller, and they become good friends. Rachel know she cant bring Marie home because she’s that kind of type her mother would not like. Marie tells Rachel she has a fox, and they cycle together to Marie. Marie is living very old and ugly. Marie’s cousin who she lives with is very rude to Rachel and she feels uncomfortable. Rachel sees the fox, and its very ill and haven't eaten. The cousin threats the girls and says he would lock them in the chicken cage. Rachel gets scared and rush back home. The following weeks she didn't see Marie and never went back for calling her.
