It was cold, and the clouds were very dark; it should soon be raining. Marc was currently sitting on a plane with his parents, on their way to India. Marc was so excited to see the different nature and learn more about the Indian culture. The flight was long but after eight hours they finally arrived. Marc was speechless, the nature was so beautiful, and everywhere he looked was palm trees and if you listened carefully then you could hear the waves splashing into the sand. Marc’s parents already had their guide book up in their noses trying to figure out which place they wanted to sightsee first. After a few minutes Marc’s parents had decided that they first wanted to check in on their hotel, and then they wanted to see the big monument Taj Mahal. When Marc got the news that he was going to see the Taj Mahal he was overjoyed he had wanted to see the monument for so long, and now he finally got the chance.
The reason why Marc is so fascinated by India and its culture is because his best friend Jamal is from India. Marc and Jamal met each other in kindergarten and they had bonded from their first greeting. Through the years Jamal had been teaching Marc things about India which made him more and more interested in the country, and now that he was there he could finally see all the things Jamal had told him about.
