Paul Haggis made the movie “Crash” in 2004 with a budget on only 6,8 million dollars.

Anthony and his friend come from a criminal background and are raised in an all black neighbourhood. In one scene Anthony and his friend is escaping from the police because they stole a car. One of the officers is a racist and uses his authority to harass black people.

Another important character for me is Daniel. Daniel is a locksmith and lives with his wife and his daughter who he loves very much.

One day, a man shows up to Daniel’s property because the man wants him to give him his money back from his work he did in his store earlier that week. The Man is really sad and also angry because his store got wrecked. The man brought a gun to Daniel’s property and threatens to kill him. Right before he pulled the trigger, Daniel’s daughter runs out in front of it and gets shot. But because she was wearing the magical cape her farther had given her she survived.

Cameron who also is an important character is driving with his wife late at night. Suddenly they get pulled over by the police and get forced to get out of the car. The officers were holding them back and suddenly one of the officers started to touch Cameron’s wife really inappropriately. It was a really abusive situation because he was not supposed to touch her private parts. When they were allowed to leave - Cameron and his wife Christine were fighting because Christine felt like Cameron didn’t stand up for or protected her when she needed it the most.
